The Certificate IV in Training and Assessment is considered essential because it is the minimum qualification to become a trainer and/or assessor in Australia’s vocational training industry.
Once you have this certificate plus relevant industry knowledge, you can then teach Vocational Education and Training (VET) qualifications with a Registered Training Organisation (RTO).
As a qualified teacher you can use your Teaching Degree and teaching experience to gain Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) for a range of units. Depending on your experience, you should be able to gain full RPL for 3 units and partial RPL for more units!
Blueprint Career Development 3-day Accelerated Teacher program is specially designed just for you! Specifically developed activities have been created for experienced teachers to bridge the gaps that exist between current practices and the requirements of this qualification. This program digs deep into the world of VET, covering what you need to know, not what you already know, to deliver high quality training to your students.
