What is a Third Party Agreement and Why Does it Matter?
A Third Party Agreement is the contract that triggers SAS funding and defines how a funded VETiS program operates.
A Third Party Agreement (TPA) is the formal contract between a school and an approved SAS provider like Blueprint. It sets out the responsibilities of each party in the delivery of the funded VETiS program.
Under the Third Party Agreement model used by Blueprint:
- The school provides the learning environment, facilities, and facilitating staff
- Blueprint Career Development holds the scope of registration and issues all qualifications
- Blueprint designs and provides all assessment tools and resources
- Blueprint marks all student assessment work and manages moderation
- Blueprint maintains all compliance records and manages reporting to government
- Blueprint handles all student enrolment data, USI registration, and qualification issuance
- Blueprint provides professional development support for school staff delivering the program
The Third Party Agreement is the mechanism that makes SAS funding accessible to schools — it is the document that triggers the funding arrangement and defines how the program will operate.
Blueprint's Third Party Agreement documentation is available for review on our Third Party Agreement page, along with our Service Level Agreement, compliance documents, and resource and equipment checklists.
