What is the SAS Resource Allocation Model?
Schools accessing SAS funded VETiS programs may receive a per-student resource allocation to reinvest in the student learning experience.
One of the most valuable — and least understood — aspects of the SAS funding arrangement is the Resource Allocation Model. Under this model, a resource allocation of up to a set amount per student (amounts vary by qualification) may be available to schools to reinvest directly into the student learning experience.
This allocation is not a cash payment to the school. Rather, it is an amount that can be used to purchase materials, equipment, or activities that directly support student learning in the VETiS program. For hospitality students, this might mean purchasing ingredients, uniforms, or hospitality-related learning materials. For tourism students, it might support excursions or industry visits.
