Which Units Do You Need to Complete for the TAE40116 to TAE40122 Upgrade?

The good news is that the TAE40116 to TAE40122 upgrade pathway is a defined process — you do not repeat the full qualification, and the units involved are directly relevant to your existing practice.

The transition units

The upgrade from TAE40116 to TAE40122 involves completing the units that are new or substantially changed in the TAE40122. For most TAE40116 holders, this involves:

  • TAELLN521 — Support the development of adult language, literacy and numeracy skills (replaces TAELLN411)
  • TAEDEL524 — Facilitate e-learning (a new unit not present in TAE40116)
