Upgrading from TAE40110 or TAE40116 to TAE40122

Older TAE versions are no longer current — but the upgrade only covers the gap units, not the whole qualification again.

The TAE40110 and TAE40116 versions of the Certificate IV in Training and Assessment are no longer considered current qualifications under ASQA's standards for most training and assessment roles. Teachers holding these older versions of the TAE are required to upgrade to TAE40122 to continue delivering nationally recognised training.

Blueprint offers an upgrade program specifically for teachers and trainers holding TAE40110 or TAE40116. The upgrade program covers only the gap units — teachers do not need to repeat competencies they have already demonstrated.
