Queensland's tourism and hospitality sector is one of the state's largest employers, offering a wide range of career entry points for school leavers with vocational qualifications. Students completing Blueprint's Hospitality or Tourism qualifications may be eligible for roles including:
- Café and restaurant service roles
- Hotel front office and guest services
- Events and functions work
- Tourism and travel industry support roles
- Bar and beverage service (subject to age requirements)
A Certificate II in Hospitality is widely recognised as a pathway into apprenticeships and traineeships in commercial cookery, hospitality management, and tourism. Students who complete Certificate III are eligible for more senior entry-level roles and further vocational study at Diploma level.
