How QCE Credits Work for VETiS in Queensland

VETiS qualifications are an approved source of credit towards the Queensland Certificate of Education (QCE).

The Queensland Certificate of Education (QCE) is awarded by the Queensland Curriculum and Assessment Authority (QCAA) to Queensland students who meet the minimum requirements for senior secondary education, which includes accumulating credit across approved learning activities.

VETiS qualifications are an approved source of QCE credit. The amount of credit a student earns depends on the level and size of the qualification they complete, as determined by QCAA. Students must complete all required units of competency to earn the full credit allocation for a qualification — partial completion earns reduced or no credit, depending on the qualification.

Exact QCE credit allocations are determined by QCAA and are based on the size and level of the qualification. Schools should consult the current QCAA VET credit schedule for specific allocation amounts. Blueprint's team can provide guidance on QCE credit contribution for the qualifications we deliver.
