How Blueprint Career Development Supports Queensland Schools and Their Teaching Staff

Blueprint Career Development has been working with Queensland secondary schools since 2003. In that time, the VETiS sector has changed significantly — but our commitment to school partnerships has remained consistent, and so has our understanding of the practical realities facing schools, VET Coordinators and teachers.

We support Queensland schools at two levels: through teacher qualification pathways, and through VETiS delivery partnerships.

Teacher qualification pathways

Blueprint delivers the qualifications and skill sets that Queensland teachers need to meet their VETiS trainer requirements:

• TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment — the current nationally recognised qualification for trainers and assessors
• TAE40116 to TAE40122 upgrade pathway — for teachers holding the superseded version of the qualification
• TAESS00024 VET Delivered to School Students Teacher Enhancement Skill Set — for teachers new to VETiS who need a structured introduction to the VET system

Our delivery is designed with working teachers in mind. We understand that TAE40122 is being completed alongside a full teaching load, and we structure our programmes accordingly — with flexibility, clear expectations and assessment tasks that connect to the teacher's real VETiS delivery wherever possible.

VETiS delivery partnerships

Blueprint Career Development is an approved Skills Assure Supplier (SAS) under the Queensland Government's Career Ready initiative, and we have been delivering nationally recognised qualifications to secondary school students across Queensland since our establishment in 2003.

Our VETiS delivery programmes span Hospitality, Business, Tourism, Sport and Recreation, and other areas. Schools that partner with Blueprint benefit from purpose-built delivery environments, experienced trainers, and a compliance-first approach to VETiS quality management.
