The school's responsibilities in a VETiS partnership typically include:

• Facilitating access to learners, facilities and delivery resources
• Supporting teachers involved in VETiS delivery to meet the RTO's trainer qualification requirements
• Communicating student enrolment information and maintaining appropriate school-side records
• Supporting the RTO's quality assurance processes, including validation activities

Key questions to ask a prospective RTO partner

• Is the RTO currently registered with ASQA and does its scope include the qualifications the school wants to offer?
• Does the RTO hold current Skills Assure Supplier (SAS) approval for Queensland schools seeking funded programs?
• What qualification requirements does the RTO set for teachers involved in delivery and assessment?
• What support does the RTO provide to teachers who need to complete TAE40122 or TAESS00024?
• What does the RTO's assessment quality management process look like, and how does validation work?
