What is Career Ready?

Career Ready is Blueprint Career Development’s program aligned with Queensland’s VET in Schools (VETiS) funding. It gives high school students the opportunity to start vocational training while still at school, with funding support from the Queensland Government.

What Can Be Funded?

• Under VETiS, students can access one government-funded Certificate II qualification while at school.

• Blueprint currently offers:

  • SIT20322 Certificate II in Hospitality 

  • SIT20122 Certificate II in Tourism

Who Can Apply?

• Queensland secondary school students in Years 10–12.

• Students who have not already accessed a funded VETiS qualification.

Important Notes

• Students can only access one funded VETiS qualification.

• If you’ve already used VETiS funding, you may still study another qualification, but it will need to be on a fee-for-service basis.
