At its core, the Blueprint identifies the knowledge, skills, and attitudes that an individual needs to make sound choices and effectively manage their own career. In the Blueprint, these are referred to as career management competencies.
The Blueprint has a solid foundation in career development theory that underpins the Blueprint’s emphasis on individuals developing a good self-understanding to understand their preferences better and make sound decisions.
The Blueprint will be used primarily by professional career development practitioners with postgraduate qualifications in career development and specialists in their field.
